RAIN COAT: THE NORTH FACE (C/O) | BLACK DENIM: CITIZENS OF HUMANITY | CHELSEA BOOTS: TOPSHOP | BAG: REBECCA MINKOFF

This past Sunday was the epitome of perfection (minus the spurts of rain throughout the day) and I'm going to share all the details with you so that you too can have the perfect Sunday in Seattle.

Sleep in late and wake up to a nice cup of coffee while you watch the rain fall. If you're lucky, there will be a break in the rain and you should take it as your cue to make your way to brunch. Head straight to Portage Bay and order the Classic French Toast. Take advantage of the infamous Breakfast Bar and top your tasty treat with an assortment of seasonal fruit, nuts and whipped cream. If you are more of a savory eater than a sweet eater, go for the Migas. Portage Bay is one of my favorite meals I have had in Seattle so far and you will not be disappointed.

Next, head for a stroll to walk off your brunch. My favorite place to walk is definitely Pioneer Square. The original square in Seattle is filled with cobblestone streets and quaint shops and cafes. It's one of my favorite parts of Seattle and definitely an area that can't be missed.

After Pioneer Square stop in for an afternoon pick-me-up at Storyville Coffee. Have you been following along with my Seattle Sips series? You can read all about Storyville here.

Finally, finish off the day with a stroll through Pike Place Market and pick up a giant bouquet of $15 tulips. The flowers are one of my favorite parts about living in Seattle, and I always seem to find myself at the market on Sunday's. There's nothing like brightening a dull Monday morning with a colorful vase of flowers.
