SEATTLE SIPS: STORYVILLE COFFEE

I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday and enjoyed an extra cup or two of coffee this morning. I'm excited to bring you the next coffee shop in my new weekly series, Seattle Sips.

Today, I am talking all about our recent visit to Storyville Coffee. I had heard great things about Storyville from several locals and knew we needed to give it a shot. Storyville has several locations around town, but we stumbled into the 1st and Madison location looking for a midmorning treat. I have also heard great things about the Pike Place Market location and will definitely be giving that a try soon.

Storyville is the epitome of cozy and is the perfect hideaway from a cold and rainy Seattle day. We warmed up by the window (the perfect spot for people watching) and enjoyed our regular choices (chai latte for me and regular coffee for Ben). You guys know I love my chai, and Storyville's was delicious. They make their chai in house and it was an exquisite blend of spicy and sweet, just the way I like it. The heart design was definitely a nice touch and perfect for pictures!

I love that Storyville is locally owned, Seattle based and works with a mission to end human trafficking.

A SIMPLE PLEASURE.
A DESPERATE NEED.
A BEAUTIFUL DREAM.

SEATTLE SIPS: ANCHORHEAD COFFEE

SWEATER: TOPSHOP | DENIM: ANTHROPOLOGIE | BOOTS: SEYCHELLES SHOES | BAG: REBECCA MINKOFF (C/O)

Today is a pretty rad Monday because I am launching my newest series here on the blog: Seattle Sips. If you have ever been to Seattle or have heard anything about Seattle, you know we are pretty famous for our coffee (HELLO STARBUCKS). I have made it my new mission in life to show you all of the most happening and Instagram worthy coffee shops in Seattle. Every Monday right here on the blog, I will be reviewing a new coffee shop found in our awesome city.

First up is the incredibly hip Anchorhead Coffee. I spotted the iconic "COFFEE" signage on one of my daily walks through downtown and knew immediately I would be back. The atmosphere inside Anchorhead is warm and inviting yet minimalistic and industrial. Ben and I ordered our drinks (the chai latte for me and the pour over for Ben) and enjoyed people watching from our spot by the window. I am a chai latte connoisseur and often judge coffee shops by their chai's. I am all for the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and Anchorhead has got it figured out. Definitely one of my favorite chai latte's I have ever had. We had just eaten breakfast and skipped out on any sort of treat but on my next visit, I will be trying the Quaffle. Think a hot and gooey cinnamon roll in waffle form...yummm!

At Anchorhead they make coffee for people who love cofee, and I sure love coffee!
