SEATTLE SIPS: GENERAL PORPOISE DONUTS

STAR PRINT BLOUSE: VICI (C/O) | DENIM: LEVIS | MULES: SEYCHELLES | BAG: CHLOE | HALEY's BAG: GUCCI

I know its technically Tuesday, but in lieu of the holiday yesterday I wanted to share a new #SeattleSips with you guys! Today's coffee shop is one of my favorite spots in all of Seattle. The  light and bright, filled with pink and awesome hangout spot, General Porpoise, is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle and definitely needs to be added to your list of coffee spots.

I went for a mid-morning treat with my girlfriend Haley of Me and Mr. Jones. General Porpoise is probably most well known for their filled donuts, but we went for the coffee and the atmosphere. Coffee shops in the Pacific North West tend to be a bit dark and moody, but General Porpoise is light and airy with lots of windows. In the summer's, the have retractable windows that they open all the way up and you can sit in the sunshine. If I lived a bit closer, I would spend lots of hours hanging out here!

My coffee recommendation is definitely an iced latte with one of their homemade syrups (so yummy). If you have a trip to Seattle planned this Summer definitely stop by General Porpoise, grab a donut and a cup of coffee and enjoy all the pink.

SEATTLE SIPS: MOORE COFFEE SHOP

GIRL POWER SWEATSHIRT: NAKD | DENIM: LEVIS |  HOOP EARRINGS: KENDA KIST JEWELRY | BAG: REBECCA MINKOFF | BOOTIES: REBECCA MINKOFF

Happy Monday friends! I finally had a weekend at home after lots and lots of travel and got to enjoy some coffee in my favorite city. Today's Seattle Sips is Moore Coffee Shop located right in the heart of downtown Seattle. Known for their incredible latte art and delicious coffee, this spot has developed quite the reputation and was definitely somewhere I had been wanting to try for a while.

Well, the eclectic decor, cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee definitely lived up to the hype. Ben had an Americano and I opted for a Vanilla Latte (mostly for the latte are). My latte was probably the cutest latte I have ever seen and had this little cartoon girl right on the top. Latte art seriously amazes me!

We had just eaten breakfast and decided to pass on any food, but we have heard the waffles there are delicious! We will definitely be repeat customers and will report back on the waffles. Moore is definitely a spot you will want to try, especially if you are staying downtown!

SEATTLE SIPS: CAFFE UMBRIA

For today's #SeattleSips, I ventured a little bit outside of my usual neighborhood and ventured over to Ballard for coffee at Caffe Umbria. This quaint little neighborhood cafe has charm, tons of natural light and delicious coffee.

I met my friend Sarah (read her blog here) for a mid-morning coffee treat. I love the Ballard area and was excited to try my first coffee shop there. Sarah is a regular at Caffe Umbria and insisted this be my first stop. I am a big ambiance person and live for places that have natural light and great decor. Caffe Umbria definitely has both. I especially loved the exposed brick and the gorgeous chandeliers hung throughout. I enjoyed the chai latte and Sarah had a vanilla latte. My chai was delicious but leaned a little bit more towards the spicy side. I am more of a sweet chai person so I might opt for something different next time.

Overall, I loved Caffe Umbria and cannot wait to return! If you check it out, I would love to know your thoughts.

SEATTLE SIPS: WHEELHOUSE COFFEE

FLORAL BLOUSE: NORDSTROM | DENIM: CITIZENS OF HUMANITY | BAG: COACH (C/O) | FLATS: JACK ROGERS (C/O)

It's Monday morning and you know what that means....Seattle Sips!

Side note, this has officially become my favorite thing I have ever done for my blog. I absolutely LOVE visiting coffee shops around Seattle and discovering the best places that this highly caffeinated city has to offer. I hope you are enjoying it!

Today, I am bringing you a quaint little coffee shop right in my neighborhood called Wheelhouse Coffee. Probably my favorite thing about this spot is the convenience to my place and the fact that I can easily walk there. The decor isn't anything special, but I do love that it's bright and cozy. I went against my normal order and opted for a latte instead of a chai because the kind barista told me they had a pretty spicy recipe (i'm more of a sweet than spicy kind of chai girl). The latte was really good but definitely on the sweet side. I was however in love with the latte art. I have no clue how baristas do this, but it is so cool. Ben loved his regular coffee and gave it two thumbs up. I think next time I will opt for an iced coffee instead of a latte.

I cannot wait to come in the Summer because Wheelhouse has an awesome outdoor patio right on Westlake Avenue. It will be the optimal spot to enjoy the sunshine and get some work done!
